Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer–(1 Positions)–Based in Phnom Penh

Position Description:  

This person is responsible for developing the company’s software quality assurance program. They will determine the testing parameters and be responsible for implementation and supervision of the testing program.

Responsibilities  

• Evaluate and test software to verify that it is functioning according to specifications and requirements.
• Perform integration testing  for systems
• Verify that software meets established and reasonable performance guidelines.
• Write, review, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures.
• Participate in the review of standards, procedures, tools, and process.
• Manage and communicate defect status and updates with developers and department management.
• Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.
• Mentor developers in methodologies, practices, and techniques.
• Work collaboratively with others to resolve issues and defects.
• Create and analyze test data

Essential Requirements 

• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field from a recognized university
• Minimum 2 years directly related work experience in software testing
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, MySQL, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Objective C, ASP/.Net, C, C++, and/or Java preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in spoken Khmer (native speakers preferred, but others will be considered)
• Good spoken and written English language capability
• Loyalty, honesty, persistence, and a positive attitude
• Ability to interact with people from varied cultural backgrounds
• Good attention to detail
• Able to learn new things very quickly
